BBC Static titles
There’s no place like home. And a static caravan in Margate really is no place like home.
Static is a sitcom about twenty-something Rob (Rob Beckett) who jacks in his job in London to move back in with his parents. The only thing is, unbeknown to him, they’ve gone and sold the family home in London and moved to a static caravan in Margate.
We were approached by Zeppotron to create a set of fun and engaging BBC programme titles mapping Rob’s emotional roller-coaster-of-a-journey from swinging London to sleepy Margate. Armed with a camera and a shed load of marker pens, we combined photography and imagery from the show with hand-drawn illustrations which were then animated and graded in-house.
