Expectation identity & website
In 2018 we helped Expectation launch their shiny new production company onto our tv screens with the design of their identity and company website.
Founded by former Endemol Shine Group president Tim Hincks and ex-ITV director of television Peter Fincham, Expectation delivers outstanding programmes covering drama, comedy, entertainment, reality and factual.

Peter and Tim were keen to make Expectation feel like a home for talent where you knew great things were going to happen. To this end, we wanted to capture a sense of energy, spontaneity and personality in the brand. We found these attributes in the coiled form of the handwritten ‘e’ which acts as a shorthand for the brand enabling it to appear with or without the name. We then created an animated logo to appear on the endcard of Expectation programmes.
Three years on and a cupboard of awards under their belt, our friends at Expectation popped back in for a refresh of their site, this time with a raft of fantastic show imagery to incorporate into the design.
Other advancements to the website included a function to filter Expectation’s shows by genre, helping to find that title you’re looking for on the Shows page a little quicker.
