Dickinson & Doris identity
Pete&Tom have created the identity, website, stationery and a host of other branding elements for Dickinson & Doris, a high-end florist specialising in bespoke designs and installations for clients across the UK and Europe.
The company’s founder, Mathew Dickinson, asked for our help in creating the brand from the ground up. His brief was to create a clean, modern identity with a premium feel and plenty of personality. He wanted something memorable that would stand out from the fussy and cliched designs common in much of his competitors brands.
Centred around the distinctive ampersand of ITC American Typewriter, the design evokes subtle floral themes without being too obvious. The ampersand also acts as the central motif of the shorthand ‘D&D’ binding the initials together.
In addition to the main identity we also created the website, social media favicons and banner designs, letter pressed business cards, postcards, van graphics and photography.
